In the early days of February, I draw upon the lessons learned from previous months, which have been both enlightening and challenging. My initial experiments with ChatGPT-4 and Claude v2.1 have shed light on their respective strengths when provided specialized roles. ChatGPT-4 with its ability to provide detailed responses, while Claude's conversational nature calls for sharper role definitions to avoid issues.
AI Trials: February Pt 1
In the first article AI Trials: February Part 1, I investigate the use of specialized roles to ChatGPT-4 and Claude. ChatGPT-4's thorough responses minimize the need for further prompts, while Claude's conversational tone requires fine-tuning to sidestep unwanted role-playing elements. The trials demonstrate the unique capabilities of each model and indicate that the AI selection could significantly impact the outcome, depending on the content's nature.
AI Trials: February Pt 2
My work with ChatGPT-4 in AI Trials: February Part 2 focused on revising the criteria template and formulating standardized rating criteria, during which I encountered some unexpected oversights. These primarily involved overlooked details in the refinement process.
AI Trials: February Pt 3
In AI Trials: February Part 3, Chat-GPT-4 excelled at creating articles with minimal input, while Claude v2.1 stumbled with image tasks, presumably caused by the specialized role in some way. The trial underscored the need for precise AI instructions and an additional understanding of the distinction between "role-play" and "assuming a role".
AI Trials: February Pt 4
In AI Trials: February Part 4, I refined Claude's role for creating content about China's Spring Festival. Despite initial cultural insensitivity and inaccuracies, Claude responded well to my feedback, producing a culturally respectful and engaging article. This trial emphasized the importance of clear instructions and human oversight to ensure cultural sensitivity in AI-generated content.
